Now that you have better Mob greifing rules would it be possible to add a config option to make the bosses ignore these rules? If mob grifing is set to false with game rules or a mod called better mob grifing rule which sets game rules at world creation! For example I disabled mo grifing since creeper explosions or Ice and fire dragons would decimate the world with the hardcore style I set it to. Nut sadly now the boss mobs in the Twilight forest for example the Naga get stuck on its own territory T.T at least make the poor snake pass trough or destroy the leave hedges even if game rules are set to no mob grifing.
If he is like this you can just stand next to hi mand kill it easy:
Patchuli book not changing the portal creation item when item is changed in the config confisuing people. I know it’s possible to make patchuli grab changes to settings even with craft tweaker and so on if you tell it to not grab a specific item but grab from a specific source that is called the same so basically instead of flat out naming the item minecraft:diamond make it portalcreationitem when it grabs the item picture for the book to display and have that direct to the config setting. And items and display them. For example I gated the twilight forest since I buffed the bossed there behind the vanilla ender dragon. Player needs an ender dragon egg to open the gate the quest in the Questbook tells this to the player but it would be nice if the patchily book also adjusted this change.
Performance lighting options a bit unclear does performance go up with it set to 0 or with it set to 255 I don’t really notice a change
Does increasing structure gen number make it less structures or more I have the defaults but there are always like 10 druid huts near each other.
The Naga change is a must be. But here are some neat little additions for the other bosses you could consider:
Hydra should have elemental heads at random: one shoots ice bombs (snowballs) one fire (firecharge) one poison (slimeball) etc. this would make the fight a bit more interesting since the poor hydra doesn’t move from its spot making it a super easy target for ranged weapons especially since the attacks are so easy to dodge and if you get under it. It can’t even attack you if you are there.
Lich sometimes portals out of its tower the top of the tower needs to be a bit bigger to prevent this.
Snow queen should sometimes make a stomp attack making ice fall down from the ceiling would be fun to see this.
