At first everything was working fine, but several minutes into the mod whenever I attempted to remove Scintling goo it began reappearing instantly after being dug. I've tried using a shovel, same result. Removing the block under the goo doesn't help - it just floats in mid-air.

Also, Scintlings sometimes go to the Overworld (the Undergarden portal spawned in a cave) and a small area around the portal is covered in Scintling goo I can't remove.

Having the same issue in 1.20.1.

Sometimes (seemingly at random) the goo doesn't reappear, but it happens rarely.

Let me check with the team. Please post your mod versions and modloader versions.

Having the same issue as well :( using version 0.8.14 for forge on mc 1.20.1

I can remove the goo in creative mode but it doesnt work in survival.

Can't recreate issue for 1.20. Need more information.

Edit: Let me try for 1.19.2, duh.
