I don't exactly know what that is and what it's meant to do, but Utheric Infection isn't supposed to be blocked by anything but Rogdorium Infusion, at the Infusion table.

I guess I will ask this:
What does the shield block? Does it block hunger/starvation, drowning, or void damage? If not, think of Utheric Infection as those sorts of things.

It is a survival mechanic. You will die if you let it build up to maximum. Just as if you are starving and don't eat. Or drowning. It's meant to be unavoidable like Void Damage, not something you can just tank.

Manage it, or die. Will need a bit more info on the shield, what it is, what it does, so I can determine if this is a bug.
