Issue Description: when making a elevator in minecraft 1.15.2 while having a door in it the door makes sound of opening and closing but does nothing (worked in 1.12) door "opens" and also stays closed (rendering both open and closed states)

What happens:

open and close stade both render at the same time + collisions

What you expected to happen:

door opens/close

Steps to reproduce:

1. make elevator with door
2. open door

this feature hasn't been re-implemented in the 1.14.4/1.15.2 re-write
