It would be really neat if when pressing a button on the elevator controller block it would output a redstone signal. By doing so it would be possible to make an elevator with closing / opening doors .

there is already redstone IO from the elevator controllers

left is a floor display, middle is call panel, right is normal panel, you can see 2 of them have redstone output

and now the call display has output when that floor is called
