Elevator creation failed - Optifine incompatible
hodo1962 opened this issue ยท 3 comments
Issue Description:
Elevator creating process consumes the blocks and leaves a gap behind.
What happens:
During the elevator creating process, the block which should be the elevator disappears and only a gap appears.
It isn't possible to click it with the linker or with the minecraft stick, walking over it slows the player down.
It is possible to set a block in the gap. When removing this block, the gap with the slowing down effect is still there.
What you expected to happen:
After the creation process, i expected to see the blocks i have marked before.
Steps to reproduce:
- Tried different blocks for the elevator - same result
- Restarted minecraft after the creation process - same result
- Tried a newer Forge version - same result
- Disabled Optifine - same result
-
Remove texture pack (Norzeteus Space) - same result
Affected Versions (Do not use "latest"): Replace with a list of all mods you have in.

can you include the startup logs? also test with forge 43.1.25 which is what I tested with?
I would recommend not using optifine, and instead using mods such as:
rubidium - many of the same things as optifine
oculus - adds shader support for rubidium
and whatever other mods rubidium/oculus recomment
Hello,
I've tested it with Forge 43.1.25 and without Optifine (with Optifine game crashed cause the preview version of Optifine for 1.19.2 doesn't work with this Forge version).
The same result; The chat said "successfully created the elevtor", but there was only the gap i've described before
Here is the startup log:
Startup_log.txt
After i've restarted minecraft, the elevator blocks were present and the elevator worked fine.
Next test: With Forge 43.1.23 and Optifine
The elevator i've created before is no longer there, only the "gap" with the slowing down effect.
The "gap" can be moved up and down with the buttons on the elevator controller block.
So it seemes that i have the choice between playing without elevator and with Optifine
or without Optifine with elevator.
