It connects with anyone in a certain radius. Not sure what the radius is though.

Does this still happen on the latest version of tide? I wasn’t ever able to reproduce it (which is why I haven’t updated this issue since it was posted)

Right now my current season modpack does not have tide in it but we are planning on dropping it as a update for my server starting next year. I will let you know if the problem is still happening or not.

I'm also having this issue as well. Version 1.5.0 on Fabric 1.21.1
