with this mod sleeping happens the instant you right click a bed, this doesn't give time for cats to lie on you, so you can't get their morning gifts.
testing further, even when "enableNightSkipAcceleration" is set to true (which i want to avoid as this will break compat with other mods) and there's time for the cat to lie on you, they still don't provide morning gifts.

tested with 1.4.8 on fabric 1.20.1
