Description

Other players in my worlds hosting with Essential can't hit anything with their guns nor does it consume ammo when they shoot. On their end, they can see they are shooting the weapon (as said before, their ammo does not deplete) but to everyone else, nothing happens.

Me and a friend tested this with only TACZ and Essential and the bug still happened. We also tested it on a different world and the guns worked like normal. But for some reason, the bug persists on a specific world (it wasn't like this before in the affected world, the bug just randomly showed up).

We tried four setups:

1. I host my survival world: Bug shows up as we expected when it first happened.
2. Friend hosts my world (they are given a copy of it) on their machine instead: Now only he can shoot guns while its bugged for everyone else (basically only the host can shoot guns).
3. Disabled all mods except TACZ and Essential: Bug still showed up (meaning this is purely between TACZ and Essential).
4. Tested it on a different world: Worked like normal (????).

And about number 4, this bug was not present in my survival world before and just showed up randomly pretty early on (I think?). When its tested on other worlds though, everyone can use guns normally. I sent a copy of my affected survival world to him and have him host it instead and as what I said in setup 1, only he can shoot guns and no one else can. As far as I know, there is not a clear way to reproduce it.

This bug also happens with e4mc hosted worlds. I also checked the logs for anything relevant and I could not find anything.

The only way we could fix the issue was to downgrade to an older version (1.0.3). The bug happens on 1.1.4 and 1.1.4-hotfix-release. We also tried to go back to the newer version after downgrading and the bug continues to happen.

This issue seems to be world specific, and we can't figure out why.
