Could/should Slime Crystals be applied like Repair Kits?

Problem description

Repair Kits are pretty convenient items for reducing micromanagement.
Overslime and Slime Crystals were added in Tinkers' Construct 3 as a "second layer" of durability.
I have tools with slime parts, and while slimewood is nice for passively accruing Overslime, I found myself surprised that you can't apply Slime Crystals in the crafting grid like you could Repair Kits.
Being able to do so would be nice for tools that are expected to be at a consistent durability, i.e tools using flint, stone, or bronze parts.

Suggested solution

Add a "custom" recipe akin to how Repair Kits function, but for Slime Crystals instead.

Alternatives considered

Subjectively, it could be preferable to have a tool trait that "automatically consumes" existing Slime Crystals in the player's inventory.
This would be more in-line with how the Slime part traits function, usually affecting Overslime in some way.
It would also offer another trade-off for using Slime Crystals vs. regular Repair Kits for your tool.
In this sense, a Repair Kit would be "free", but require more micromanagement. A Slime Crystal would be cheap, and not take much of the player's attention, but one would be sacrificing space for another valuable tool material to accomplish this.

I have no plans to automatically consume slime crystals or something similar with a trait, that trivializes all overslime capacities upgrades as now the best move is to just hold a huge stack of slime crystals.

Anyways, the reason you cannot apply overslime like repair kits was originally intended as a balancing factor, as in general overslime is far cheaper to create than repair kits, so I was concerned it would make repair kits useless. That said, since you can simply carry a tinker station with you, this did not achieve the effect I originally intended, so I will rethink the design.

My current plan is to move slime crystals to be crafted in the part builder, which will make them slightly more expensive (require wood). That change will then allow applying them in the crafting table (provided the tool already has the overslime modifier, your first application will need to be in a tinker station/anvil). I am not 100% certain this is the way I will go. I may instead decide to add a separate overslime repair kit item from a higher tier of slime only, and use that for on the go overslime repair. In other case, know this is a feature I intend to add, the exact details are just undecided.

1.18 changes overslime to use slimeballs instead of slime crystals. In the near future I'll probably let you use slime repair kits to add overslime as well, fulfilling this request. Unlikely to make it to 1.16.
