Describe your issue

As the title says, the Lightspeed upgrade only works when near a block light source, even in broad daylight. Standing in daylight and trying to use the tool, there is a negligible mining speed increase. However, when placing down a torch, it suddenly jumps up to a higher speed.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Apply Lightspeed to a pickaxe.
  2. Go outside in direct sunlight and mouse over the tool.
  3. Mining speed increase is negligible.
  4. Place a torch at your feet.
  5. The tool now has a much higher mining speed.

Yes, that's intended. Light speed is for block light only by design. Tooltips only have so much space.

I understand tooltips don't have much space, but none of the guide books mention anything about it only working with blocklights. Might be worth updating its entry there so there's no confusion... Thanks for the quick response though! So happy to have this mod on 1.20 at last :)
