i updated to the newest Tinkers' construct and the part Builder just dosent work i tried it on its own and went through all the mods in the custom modpack i got and Nothings working i tried to see if it was another mod causing it but its not its just bugged Tinkers' construct 3.10.1.76 works fine part Builder works as intended but when i go to 3.10.2.92 Part Builder No longer Functions But after backdating to the older version then updating to the newer one it fixed it self seems like a Bug that only happens randomly also i use modrinth and im on Linux but i doubt that has anything to do with it

Steps to reproduce

It just happen randomly ive been trying to get it to happen again but it seems to be a Code Bug when updating to newer versions like older stuff getting Stuck in the newer one

If you can't even reproduce your issue, there is no chance of us reproducing it. Having a bug once and not being able to reproduce it makes me assume user error, not the mod is broken.

This is especially relevant as the part builder did not change in 3.10.2 at all.

I have never had issues with the part builder. It worked fine when I played just last week on the latest build.

Give me steps to reproduce if you want this fixed. If you are no longer experiencing this, seems like there is no issue to me.

well for the past while ive been trying to reproduce it my self it just seems to be a Chance that it happens ive done nothing different it was when i was on the older version every thing was fine none of the mods conflicted with it nor in the newer version the part Builder just Glitched out this really just seems like a Random chance thing and if it is.

That makes it harder to fix but if any one dose have it happen a Quick Fix is just to backdate to the older version they where on previously and just update to the newest one cause when the part Builder First stopped working i uninstalled it reinstalled it on the same version the older one after i disabled all other mods besides mantle and it only started to work again after i one updated to the newest version (was still broken) backdated then updated again and it fixed it its also possible a hiccup in the install processes happened and corrupted something.

Any thing can happen its not a If its just When it happens.

You keep saying the word "random" like you have experienced this more than once. But the rest of your comment says you only ever experienced it once (that is, once it was working again it never stopped working again). Which is it?

i have had this happen more then once sorry for not Clarifying on that but it quite literally happens completely at random i even had it happen in 1.12.2 versions but a Quick reinstall always fixed it on older versions but now to fix it i have to install the newest version backdate then update again the only thing i can Think might be causing it is something going Wrong while its downloading the mod or some other thing Causes it its hard to pin point it when its near impossible to recreate it willingly.
cause i've always have had it happen during updating to a newer version of the mod from an older version i have had it happen on curseforge and modrinth could be an issue on their end if it is something Going Wrong mid download or its just a network issue when downloading stuff could be either but its hard to figure it out

1.12 was entirely different UI code. There is no chance a bug from 1.12 still exists on 1.16+.

I have heard of no one else experiencing this issue with UIs randomly not working. My best guess is your issue comes from performance enhancers or a cracked launcher. Otherwise I see no reason why you would be getting the issue across different versions that did not change the part builder.

Unless you give me steps to reproduce, I cannot help you. To reiterate, I have never experienced this so the issue isn't "it happens randomly", it only happens randomly to you. Help narrow down what makes your install different.

well one thing i can make clear here i'm not using a Cracked launcher i am using modrinth but i figured out what it was it was my internet being all wonky hence it happening at random for me when it was in the middle of downloading Tinkers the internet would Blip in and out rapidly causing information to get messed up and got that issue resolved every ISP i've had always had that issue pop up every once in a while it just so happened to Strike when i was making custom mod-packs.

Luckily this time around it didn't take 3 to 4 months to get the issue fixed with the wifi that mainly explains why it seemed random with it happening it wasn't the mod it self it was just Shitty internet doing shitty internet things.

it slipped my mind that caused this issue way in the past and it Finally came back to me. that did cause an issue and low and behold it was the internet being wonky as Willy Wonka's Chocolate factory.

And another reason to why my wifi is prone to being so Jank the Military Bought a airfield from some guy that is not to far from where i live and well i think that can Explain it self

Yeah, there is nothing I can fix about not properly downloading the mod, so I'm going to close this. If you are concerned about downloads corrupting in the future, download it a few times and use a binary file comparison tool to ensure they match (if its erroring on download randomly, it is unlikely to error the same way twice)
