since the new tinkers update the mod began to have missing textures for a good chuck of its materials

Which textures are missing?

it seems to be that only materials from base tc work as the ones from addons are left without a texture

Yeah, I removed those textures to cut down on the size of the jar file. You can generate them using /tconstruct generate_part_textures missing, though I can re-add them once I have access to my computer again.

after some testing it doesn't appear to generate textures when using the command. I checked the generated resource pack folder and it's not there

The command will only generate textures for any valid materials that are accessible within the current world. It won't generate something like knightmetal unless the mod that adds it is present.

yeah so I looked in and it only generated textures for witherium from tinkers calibration, but it doesnt load them for the katanas.
here's a screenshot showing that there is no folder was created for tinkers katanas within the generated pack

You have to enable the resource pack from the pause menu

I did and it didn't work
there were no errors in the log so I'm certain that the mod's just unable to generate missing textures

I've located the problem, I must've deleted the template textures at some point without realizing it.
