I think the mod textures for upgrades is broken with better combat but the tool parts are working fine which is confusing. I put diamond upgrade on my katana and it still looks the same as the base katan I made

You'd have to speak with whoever made the better combat addon, there isn't really anything I can do about that on my end.

okay , just did some further testing without the better combat mod and textures katan are still not matching the item itself is getting the upgrades and proper textures but the held item is not

Which version of the mod are you using?

Never mind, I think I've found the issue. I'll fix this as soon as possible.
