I recently suffered a downgrade on my PC so I'm unable to run a lot of the heavier modpacks so I made a personal one that's a skyblock map, obviously, and had your mod put in and for some reason, the config file is there but none of the items or even an item tab on the creative menu shows up in game. That a bug or am I just stupid? I can't find recipes in JEI or nothing for bane of cobble or any of those items.

Those items don't have a recipe, you get them the first time you join the world. Easiest way to check if it's working is if you can find the wooden hopper in JEI. Otherwise the mod isn't loaded (or you're starting without forge)

I just started a fresh world without any save data or previous worldgen or nothing and started up the modpack and still didn't spawn in with the items. I have confirmed the wooden hopper is there but none of the bane items are generated on startup. I have a theory regarding that but I am unsure how, or if it can be worked around without the item id's from the mod itself. The mod I use is void island control which has its own starting inventory function which MAY be overriding the starting inventory of TinkerSkyblock. Not sure how to remedy that without simply using a different void world that doesn't have the starting inventory.

It's a modpack I assembled on the Twitch Launcher so yeah, it has forge. I'll look again, maybe I'll just have to restart my world anew or something to get the items. Should really have implementation like a /tools command in case they are lost that you'll be able to get the tools. just a suggestion.

I added the mod to a pack I'd previously started so that workaround should have worked then on a previously loaded world. All I got was a message in game that said there was an error with starting inventory. I guess if I want tools like that I'll have to go into creative and create something similiar in a creative setting if there is no command to give them in game or choose another mod for a void world.

That would explain it. If you're using it only for yourself there's also a simple workaround:

  • Remove Tinkers' Skyblock
  • Create a new world and start it
  • Once the world has been generated, and you've been spawned in the world for the first time, save and quit.
  • Add Tinkers' Skyblock back
  • Load the world. You should have the tools now

My mod simply gives you the items the first time you log into the world with the mod. If you already were logged in before, the void island mod shouldn't conflict since it has already done its part.

Hm, sounds like it either needs a command to give you all the configured tools or another way to give them to people.

Yeah, that' what I was thinking. I even went so far as to try and create one myself in game but wasn't able to duplicate it without going into creative and cheating a bunch of mods on it to make it unbreakable and increasing it mining speed to the point that it mined in one hit but still didn't make it where the cobble instantly reappared as advertised for the mod.

Next version will have said command.
