I commented on the Curse page, but found this page and decided it might be more effective to mention this here. The particle count for tier 2 growth crystals is way too high as of the latest update and reduces my framerate by 50% if I'm within about 2 chunks of my farm. At the very least, I feel this should be a configurable option.
