when i put restoration on an entity i get regeneration but it doesnt heal any hearts.
could it be that it runs out and is reapplied too fast so it keeps resetting without actually healing?

Hmmm I'll take a look at it soon, that could be the cause of the issue.

Version 4.1.0 now features AOEEffect that of which can be used to grant nearby entities any chosen effect for any chosen amount of time with any cooldown refresh rate. This essentially fixes this issue as Restoration will no longer exist but can be recreated with the solution to the fix (the refresh rate).
