Sort by item name, sort by item amount and sort by mod are not perfect. I often can't find what I want, and I almost always have to use search, which is very inconvenient. Can you create a custom sorting functionality?

Me, too. In addition, "sort by creative tab".

Sort by rarity would be nice, but I can see that it may be challenging to implement.
Sorting by ID, however, is plain simple. I have no idea why it's not an option, especially given that that's how items are sorted in creative menu. If you ask me, this should've been the first sorting method implemented.
