When a large quantity of items are in connected chests the tooltips for inventory connectors, hoppers, etc. will cause extreme fps loss and eventually, if there are enough items in connected systems, it will crash the game client.

I can't think of a use for the tooltip anyway. Can we just remove it?

I took a glance at the tooltip in the inventory connector code and it kind of looks like the tooltip is trying to parse the entire inventory whenever the tooltip is activated by a player looking at the block.
