I'm playing my modpack with both ToroQuest and Rustic and when I get the quest to plant crops in the village it only counts the crops from vanilla and it would be much more convenient if this mod also supported Rustic's crops.

Included this in the latest version, let me know if it works for you. I made it so all plants that uses forges IPlantable count towards the crop count - which rustic crops should

Unfortunately, it seems that with the latest version even in TQ only instance no crops count towards the quest.
