  • Introduce jobs to the players of Minecraft that would change the gameplay and characteristics of the player

  • Job can be changed for free in a village by talking to certain NPC

  • Ability to build something like an enchantment table where you can change jobs, but it costs some resource and if you break the table, you get nothing back; allows a player to set up a different place to change jobs, but not able to just change jobs at any time

  • Alternatively, maybe allow job change at any time, but with a five-minute cooldown

  • Knight:

    • higher max hp
    • can wear up to diamond armor
    • increased attack damage with sword, decreased attack damage with bow
    • job is discovered by killing the Rainbow King
  • Archer:

    • lower max hp
    • can wear only leather armor
    • increased attack damage with bow, decreased attack damage with sword
    • job is discovered by killing Bastion
  • Miner:

    • can wear up to gold armor
    • built in Efficiency on pickaxes (stronger enchantment as job level increases)
    • any non-Miner class will be stricken with mining fatigue after a certain amount of mining
    • job is discovered by finding NPC in mineshaft?
  • Wizard:

    • lower max hp
    • can wear leather armor and special mage robes
    • has MP pool that will slowly recover
    • uses a mage staff which does different attacks depending on how long you hold the mouse click, maybe? throws a potion of harming with a quick click, lightning bolt with a held click
    • job is discovered by defeating a Mage in the Mage Tower
  • Lumberjack:

    • lower max hp
    • built in Efficiency while cutting logs
    • increased attack damage with axe, decreased attack damage with sword and bow
    • job is discovered by killing a Verderer
  • Explorer

    • default class
    • same attributes as base Minecraft player
    • maybe we should restrict armor, and lower damage on all weapons slightly
