Could you consider adding JSON files so material's stats could be changed and balanced as others see fit? Also for adding new materials, just making a new JSON file and changing the stats would be really handy.

A great example of this is Yoyos. A quick summary: A JSON can be named after the material you want to add parts for, and in the JSON you manually add those parts and change those part's stats manually. Yoyos then applies the proper traits to each part.

I'm using ContentTweaker and unlike PlusTiC it won't add new tool parts. If it doesn't explicitly support a mod that adds new parts, it won't make them so another mod has to. Currently the materials I've made can't have greatswords completely made of them. I think all other tools use regular tool parts so they're fine.
