/tan setseason doesnt work. the others dont either

also the wiki doesnt say what colors on the season sensor blocks mean

Just saying something "doesn't work", really isn't much to go on here. Please include more detailed information about game versions, what commands you tried, what the result was, screenshots etc. and open another issue.
