Diving in water cools you down just below burning.

Overview
I imagine absentmindedly burning in the desert, panicking, and seeing a river, knowing that is your only hope. You jump in getting instant relief, and set out only to find yourself immediately overheated again!
So you dive back in, and follow the river as far as you can out of the biome.
... Honestly, I was deeply surprised to find you had NOT included water swimming in your temperature considerations. It's a logical expectation, I would think.
Hopefully you can implement this feature into your fantastic mod without too much issue. - PMZ
Why would this feature be useful?
Clearly a way to assist early players to travel out of hot zones, and get temporary relief from heat stroke.
My apologies. Allow me to be more clear; If the indicator shows "fire" and I'm taking damage, one presumes that jumping into quenching water would extinguish the flame.
When I was burning in the desert and dove into the water, I didn't see the immediate cool-down effect I was expecting.
Well, you're not really on flames, its just that your body temperature is way too hot, inner body temperature takes time to change, like in real life, you actually have plenty of time to seek water sources to cool down, when the indicator shows flames, youre not getting damage, but when the flames start shaking, thats when its too late and you probably will get hyperthermia or "too hot"
Understood and fair enough. I understand the symbolism, I guess I'll just have to deal with the perceived lag in temperature relief.
Also, in many hours of testing, I've never seen the thirst bar drop. Likely this has something to do with the many mods I use and I'll have to try and track down whatever is stopping the thirst mechanic, but I don't suppose there might already be a list of verified mod incompatibilities, or perhaps one mod you already know from experience that stops the thirst from dropping?
