What happened?

1. I’m playing on survival with an attack maid and once I die the maid no longer attacks hostile mobs.
2. I tried every attack form and still doesn’t attack, although rejoining and spawning a new maid fixes it.
3. I do have a revive mod called “PlayerRevive” and since it relates to death it might have caused the issue but I don’t know if it actually is the problem or this is a general issue.

The maid has an attack range.

If her master is out of range or dead, the maid will not pursue or attack the enemy.

We haven't figured out a compatible solution for this issue yet, so for now, let's leave it this way.
