This suggestion comes from an unfortunate accident I made last night... I accidentally trashed a backpack containing a bunch of stuff, and then trashed something else, without thinking.

This was entirely my fault, but it gave me the idea of a blacklist of items you simply aren't allowed to throw into the trash slot, for safety reasons.
