Offhanding shield while teleporting removes delay

What's happening?

Whenever I teleport to an anchor whilst having a shield in my offhand causes me to immediately re-teleport upon arriving at the anchor, thus going to the furthest anchor in the line of sight.

What I think should be happening

Usually when there is no shield in the offhand, there is a slight delay before teleporting again if the mouse button is still held. Using a shield should not cancel this delay.
