Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I would love to streamline the process of adding items to the backpack without having to open the backpack.
I'm asking for this request since I used Forge + Sophisticated backpack. Now I switched to Fabric and Traveller :D

The feature I am missing works as follows (can be tested with Sophisticated):

  • open inventory or chest to organise/clean-up/grab something
  • grab item
  • drag it over the backpack in the inventory
  • right-click puts said item directly in inventory.

Vice-versa is also true: pick backpack, hover over item, right-click to put item inside the backpack.
This feature would skip opening the backpack separately after closing chests.

Cool feature - added to the todo list! I can't give an estimated update date for this feature because I already have a queue of updates, but it's definitely coming at some point! :)

Great to hear that. It is really useful, I had a long experience when I played Minecraft with forge in the past.

Looking forward for when you get the chance to implement it.

Hello!

I am back with an info addition. I just used for the first time the Bundle that is in vanilla Minecraft.
Basically, the functionality I described above is exactly how the Bundle behaves except that the backpack does not also output items from inside as the Bundle does. It just puts them in.

I don't know if this info helps in any way but I just thought to share it with you.
You created an amazing tool. Do not stop updating it for newer versions <3
