copy nbt data and open it I guess. You need like 40 mods for it. here is the image

3. What is expected behaviour

I can open the backpack and it works. Interestingly I can press ctrl to display all items and it works just fine until you open it, maybe there is some issue with water/lava tank, idk.

Do you use terrastorage mod?

Seems like item that is not upgrade landed in upgrade slot and this is causing the issue, common problem with terrastorage. Update will be available soon

Exactly, minecraft:apple in travelersbackpack:upgrades. If you replace it with air or just remove it backpack will work again

I can see there is a new version (10.1.16), am I risking my stuff by updating or not? anyway I'll later update the mod, download the world and try again, now I gotta go

Hey, just update to latest version, you will be able to access backpack again and take the item directly from the gui without the crash

and the give command you've provided is wrong, components have different structure, I'm not familiar with it yet but you can check it up on the internet
