The recipe works properly on 1.21.1. Maybe the recipe is not compatible with 1.21 version, I will have to check that

Please update your Fabric Api version to at least 0.102.1. It's marked for Minecraft 1.21.1, but it's compatible with 1.21 too. Seems like they've added item tags for wheat in this version and Traveler's Backpack already uses it to provide compatibility with wheat items added from other mods. If you use older fabric api the tag doesnt exsist and it causes recipe to not work properly
