Alternatively try placing backpack on the ground and Shift + Right click on it

Oh yeah i got the backpack from a skeleton so maby its bugged or something

Okay, seems like somehow some mod adds trinkets to your game, which is something hacky, because Trinkets is not available for 1.21.4.
This causes backpack to bug
Please do the following to be able to equip the backpack:
while being in-game: hit esc -> mods -> find traveler's backpack -> click configure -> open backpack settings -> find back slot integration -> set to false -> save -> ignore restarting

then open backpack and you will be able to equip it with button

Thanks it worked you can close the ticket or what ever this is

You can access backpack from your player inventory or by keybind (B default) You habe to change keybind because it opens new waypoint creation

"V" will only work if inventory is closed

I'd suggest to remove it, but like I said - trinkets mod is "bundled" with some other mod, so I dont know what mod actually adds it. Also weird why it is bundled in the first place

i removed it and it now gives me an erreo that your mod is missing something

Required mods for travelers backpack are:

• Cardinal Components API
• Cloth Config API

Weird cause i put it back in and it works now again but i can still not get in the backpack or take it off

What settings do you have

Everything seems correct. I dont know why keybind doesnt work. I checked on your modpack that you provided and after equipping the backpack I could open it without any problems

I didn't change anything, just backSlotIntegration to off and open backpack keybind to V

i have reset everything but that and it wont work maby its the backpack

DId you join your world when travelers backpack was not installed?

also did you try clicking the backpack icon to open it?

And it didnt open? anything in the console? any error or something
