Suck mode not working on cattle to fill tank with milk.

Describe the bug
As showcased in this video, users are supposed to be able to to suck milk from cows into a tank on the backpack, however when trying this in game it does not work. -
Write steps to reproduce the bug
I tried using the hose in all three modes (suck, drink and spill), and none of these put milk into the tanks. Simply go up to a cow, press the 'place' or 'use' key and see. -
What is expected behaviour
Tanks should fill with milk when using suck mode on cow.
It should also be noted that putting a milk bucket directly into the tank via backpack does not work either:
Milk has been removed from fabric version, if you find any other mod that adds milk as fluid (placeable in the world or something) I can add compatibility
@Tiviacz1337 Thanks for a speedy reply. I guess the same goes for potions then? (the video showcases potions being put into the tank).
Not sure if this is relevant (also this mod is slightly outdated):
