Items won't stay as I sorted after I upgraded my backpack to the Netherite.
It didn't happen before the upgrade. Tried multiple times, same results each time

Hmm, I can't reproduce, could you try:

1. unequip backpack
2. open backpack in your hand
3. try moving items to destinated place (like in the video)
4. check if it saves?

Then after this just equip your backpack and check if items move correctly

Just checked - can't reproduce even on your save, maybe it's compatibility issue

So nothing you can do?

Could you try resetting your backpack?

Take everything from your backpack (including tools and upgrades)
then place backpack on the ground and shift + right click with Blank upgrade in hand
It will drop all tier upgrades on the floor
Then try to re-apply them and check if issue still occurs

At the moment it works only combined with pickup upgrade, you can void items that are being picked up to backpack if applied in filter.

Example: set autopickup filter to allow and put dirt in any filter slot
set void filter to allow and put dirt in any filter slot

it will void all incoming dirt

Just upgraded to netherite tier too and checked but still cant reproduce, no clue why it happens, but it worked for me when I downloaded your save, I will try to install the same mods like you and check again

So it is not really useful without the autopickup filter. Gotcha

Yes, it is R key that I am using. I have small hand and default B key is too far for my tiny hand

That's what causing your issue, R is responsible for sorting backpack (not default travelers backpack feature, some other mod is sorting the contents), change the R to something else and it will all work properly

I don't think that's the case, since I don't see any other mod using R key.
And it doesn't say 'R key is also getting used for another function' message.

I know, I checked it and didn't found the R key in controls, but check it yourself, rebind backpack to other key, then rearrange your backpack contents and click R.

That's some other mod bad implementation that they use the key but not list it in controls
