Bug Report – Traveler’s Backpack (NeoForge / Minecraft 1.21.1)
Modloader: NeoForge
Game version: 1.21.1
Bug Title:
Traveler’s Backpack icon disappears when installed alongside Curios API and Artifacts mod.
-
Describe the bug
The backpack equip/unequip icon disappears from the player’s inventory when both Curios API and Artifacts mod are installed alongside Traveler’s Backpack. This makes it impossible to equip or unequip the backpack using the usual UI. -
Steps to reproduce
Install Traveler’s Backpack (version for Minecraft 1.21.1 – for example, Traveler's Backpack 10.1.3 builds with Curios/Accessories support)
Modrinth
.
Add Curios API and Artifacts mod to your NeoForge setup.
Launch Minecraft and enter a world.
Observe that the backpack icon—which normally appears next to your character in the inventory and lets you equip/unequip—is missing.
- Expected behavior
The backpack icon should appear in the inventory (typically near the player's character slot), enabling equip and unequip functionality.
The icon and its functionality should remain visible and operative even when Curios API and Artifacts are installed and active.
- Screenshots (If applicable)
Please capture the following screenshots to illustrate the issue clearly:
Your Minecraft inventory screen showing no backpack icon when all three mods are active.
A comparison screenshot where only Traveler’s Backpack is installed (without Curios API and Artifacts), showing the icon correctly visible.
Optionally, logs or config settings from travelersbackpack.json5 could be helpful if the icon is hidden due to config.
