    when i want to upgrade backpack, lether, upgrade and backpack don't fit into smitting table slots. Also in JEI no recipes for upgrades

I think you might be using some kind of mod that causes incompatibility, everything works fine on this version. You can share screenshot how you try to upgrade the backpack

yep. trouble is in this mod https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/vminus .....just set lower version and all work. thank you
