Astral sorcery's axe doesnt work as expected

it'll chop down the smaller trees no problem, modded and vanilla, but when I try chopping down 2x2 spruce trees it ...doesnt even try to chop the whole thing down it just breaks the one block
Hello,
get a better axe. You cant just chop down a 50 - blocks tree with a wooden
axe. (not enough axe durability)
