When you add a Backpack from Inmis mod, a Ring slot appears on the top left.
Same for when you put the backpack out in your inventory

so every time when you update trinkets

What mods were you using and could you include logs.

this caused Extra Alchemy

Without that mod, the Ring doesnt pop up, but the items get dropped when i want to drag them back to the inventory

I've finally found the issue here ...

You need at least 8 different trinket slot in order to work
Cause then the scroll bar comes in place and this is broken.

It doesnt matter which mods / trinkets , just more than 7
For Example i use (Charm of Undying/Cosmetic Armor/Elytra Slot/Inmis/Rings of Ascension)

If you place a Trinket in, the slots that are invisible ( under the scroll wheel , appear on the upper left )
If you now place a item in the first 1 / 2 ( depends how much slots are unvisible ) and you wanna grab them back to your inventory, they get thrown on the ground.

So yeah, long story short, the scroll wheel is broken

When the items are in the slots to the left ( under the scroll wheel ) the items get duplicated
