You probably only need to specify that it works with 1.20.1 too. As long as it does not explicitly say 1.20.1, the modloader will refuse to load it:

Seems to work fine for me on 1.20.1 using Multi-MC (with both Fabric and Quilt modloaders).

Must be an issue using the Default Minecraft loader... (which DOES act up if the Mod isn't listed properly in CurseForge). :(

Oh, yeah I updated the version number on Modrinth and forgot to close this.
