While playing today, I had a few items equipped in the trinket slots such as kitty shoes and a small backpack (from Let's Do Series). When putting items in the backpack, upon closing the backpack inventory, all items equipped in trinket slots disappear and all items inside backpack disappear as well.

We can close this, confirmed this is an issue on Let's Do Series end, not trinkets end.
