I found this mod for flaming swords.
It adds a layer of flames to the texture when enchanted with Fire Aspect.
It works with item tags from the snapshots.

Since I only found a way to add items via their ID, my knowledge reaches its limit.
Can it be added via the mod folder of Dynlight?

Enchantment checks are currently hardcoded, but you're in luck because Dynamic Lights already adds light level 9 to Fire Aspect enchanted items by default (see first option under Enable additional light emitting from... in the settings menu).
(This project however does not support the new snapshots yet)
