Gamma Override is not working with Optifine

I have been playing minecraft 1.16.4 with the newest build from your website. If i have optifine enabled, the gamma override doesnt work, no matter if I have smooth lighting off or on.
Optifine Version: 1.16.4_HD_U_G5
Optifabric Version: 1.8.7
Tweakeroo Version: 0.10.0-dev_20201122.174805

I now have a fix for the problem: You have to disable "Custom Colors" under the "Quality" category in your video settings.
I hope I can save some people headaches with this.
