you can make it a separate option or just the same one as the one that is already there

Im only asking for this because ive lost 3 netherite boots to soulsand
because apparently it uses durability when you have soul speed

This would most likely be a separate tweak, as it would be called differently in code as well (checked every tick or possibly before taking damage, instead of before and after attack or use actions).
