Placement grid has an option to quickly change the grid size by holding the hotkey and scrolling.

A nice enhancement would be implementing that for periodic attack interval

I have already done this somewhat recently in the main development code. I think I probably added it to some other tweaks as well that didn't have it before, but I forget which ones exactly. But no ETA yet when this will arrive even in the 1.12.2 builds where it will be available first, before being ported to 1.13.2+ later on.
