Hi, I have the qwertz layout on my Keyboard. If I want to change the mode of fastplace, I have to press y+ number, because y and z are switched on qwertz. This may led up to confusion, why the switching of the modes is not working.
A possible fix (I don´t know much about that stuff) is not to use the location of the key, but instead use the "value" like "y". this would eliminate this problem, because it would ignore the layout of the keyboard.

This is on my TODO list to look into and try to fix. Doesn't this problem also affect vanilla in 1.13+?

i don´t know that. but i think so. It just confuzed me for a minute why its not working, and then i remembered why. Thanks for your answer. Should I keep the Issue open, because it not fixed yet, or should I close it? I would say ad a TODO tag and keep it open, right?

This is also a vanilla issue.

This issue should actually be for malilib, since malilib handles all the keybind stuff for my mods. But it's fine just keeping it open here, I have it noted on my personal TODO list which is usually what I use when checking what to work on next.

What it says for what to type is more LWJGL since default is qwerty that it uses.
