This seem's in scope for your mod so I was wondering if you could help,

I'm working on a mod pack that adds a stack of mining levels which has resulted in Diamond moving up from mining level 3 to 6.
Would it be possible to make the maximum mining level that the Diamond and Emerald modifiers push a tool up to configurable? Or can you suggest a better way of achieving this?

What I am trying to achieve is a tool progression where by the player is forced to work their way up through mining levels with alloys and modifiers.
