I have no clue how much or how little of a nightmare it would be to add working twitch emotes.
As in emotes in twitch also show up in the minecraft chat.

It would be really useful if possible.

there's a different mod you can maybe use in tandem called streamotes

It's an enormous nightmare.
I've got a build working, but my method makes it so the more lines of text you have on screen, the less fps you will get. E.g. I usually get around 100-120 fps in Minecraft, but whenever I press F3 on this "Twitch-emote-enabled" build, my fps drop to 15-20.
And I don't know of any other way of doing it 😢.

I'm going to keep the issue open to remind me of my incompetence every time I open GitHub and maybe I will get to it from a different angle next time

I'm also open to PRs! Just in case either you or somebody want to help by implementing this for me 😄
