I primarily stream without a microphone, and I tend to prefer typing in-game to reply to people because of the chat narration accessibility feature. However, I don't like showing chat on stream because it can't be erased from the VOD if someone comes into chat spamming slurs (unlike banning them removing their messages from the replay.) A setting to ignore incoming messages and only send out my own messages would be beautiful and much appreciated.

if you are fine with using the AdvancedChat mod you can make it so when you open chat it automatically puts the : infront of your message your about to type
