it just shows a black screen and doesn't actually launch. It does open the window, but nothing else. Im on a mac btw. The only things i have in my mod folder is the ui-utils, fabric mod api, meteor client and malilib library thing

You don't need malilib, and it says incompatible with mac, its a feature that mac users can't use it.
