I'd like to see an option to set the first event to start on the day that 'daysBetweenHordeNights' is set?

So with default settings (daysBetweenHordeNights = 5)
The first horde event would happen on the fifth night since the server started and then every 5 days after as normal.

That is actually the way it already should be...
What version are you on?
Fabric, forge or neo?

I just created several completely new minecraft instances with a fresh install of undead night and the first horde night comes after 5 days (as in the default settings)

neoforge 21.4.79
Undead Nights 0.9.5 (NeoForge 1.21.3-1.21.4)

When I first used it they spawned on the first night and pretty much got destroyed.

Second time new world spawned again on the first night, was prepared this time.

Third playthrough, they spawned without the warnings but less then the 20 I had set.

Currently playthrough new world they didn't spawn this time, I'm assuming it might be because thunder storm happened and I ended up sleeping early.

If it should be working then obviously it's mod conflict, I'm thinking it's the Better Days mod which alters the pass of time. I'll try it out.

EDIT: So just finished testing and I can confirm that the mod Better Days, which allows you to change how fast or slow time passes, did cause the horde to spawn on the first night because I had time move much slower making days last longer.

Is compatibility possible, it's fine if you don't want to bother?

Thanks for testing, I can't promise anything, but I will have a look :)

Can you please share how you configured better days? :)

daySpeed = 0.1
nightSpeed = 0.6

those are the only things I changed.

did you have time to test if it works?

commented

Yes, I'll be free in the next few days so I will be trying this out on neoforge 21.4.8

EDIT: So that idea isn't going to work. I'm now using the modrinth app and gonna build on an optimaztion modpack. So the environment it's not gonna be the same but I hope it still works.

EDIT 2: This i working fine you can close this issue now.
