If possible, I'd like the horde nights to be randomized. Like, for example from a range of 1-20 days a horde night could spawn. Since right now, theres a default day in which the horde spawns and everyone can simply prepare and expect the horde.

In a way that is already possible, with the config option "chanceForHordeNight".
Per default this is set to 100%.
You could do the following:

• set daysBetweenHordeNights to like 4
• set chanceForHordeNight to like 35
  so every 4 days there is 35% chance for a horde night
